Angel Perfume – For Food Lovers?

How wierd is that? - a perfume being described as suitable for food lovers. Maybe not so strange when you consider that Thierry Mugler's Angel perfume is a fragrance that blends many comforting warm food scents such as coffee, mint and caramel.

Angel Cologne For Men

In 1996 the design house of Thierry Mugler in 1996 launched Angel perfume. Is was classified under flowery fragrances, maybe because there is no category for ‘food-like’ scents. This masculine fragrance possesses a blend of: caramel, mint, coffee, and chocolate and is usually recommended for casual wear.

Angel shower foam goes well with Angel cologne adding richness when paired together. Angel for men is packaged in a masculine silver bottle and has Thierry Mugler’s signature star on the front. The bottle is enclosed in a blue and black box and a 3.4oz bottle sells for approximately $90.

Angel Perfume For Women

Angel Perfume for Women was introduce ealier than the cologne, in 1992. It is also categorized as a flowery scent with a blend of sandalwood, vanilla and patchouli and also with notes of melons, citrus and plums. It is recommended for daytime wear and, unusually, can be purchased in a refillable bottle. This, however, has both advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side you can get your favorite scent refilled at a discount. However, adisadvantage is that counterfeiters have been known to fill the bottle with fake perfume and sell it off as the original.

A 1.7 oz bottle costs around $90. Angel perfume is also available in a cream and lotion, the latter retailing for $50 for a 7 oz. bottle

Angel Innocence perfume was introduced in 1998 and contains notes of mandarin, bergamot and passion fruit. It is accented with almonds, honey and amber making this variation perfect for casual use. A 2.6 oz bottle in the legendary star shape retails for around $60.

Most of the people who like Angel perfume are those that enjoy heavy scents. Others feel it is too easily distinguishable and isn't very exlusive. If people are familiar with its scent, they will easily tell what you are wearing or go rush out and buy it too. It is a slightly intoxicating, heady perfume which goes well with Mugler’s clothes - not with floral, summer dresses but with something more formal and classy.

Angel perfume is not as readily available in stores as many other designer names but it can easily be ordered online. The only catch is that you will not be able to try it on your wrist before purchase.

One of the things I'd like to do in this blog is review some of the top perfumes and cosmetics by the leading market players. Today I'm going to look at Angel Perfume by Thierry Mugler.

It is available for both men and women and there are other products in the range besides perfume.

Angel for men comes in a cologne and a shower gel is packaged in a masculine silver bottle with Thierry Mugler’s signature star on the front.

The most distictive thing, apart from the fragrance of course, of the Angel Perfume for women is that is comes in a refillable bottle.

The Angel products  aren't as easy to find in stores as many other designer names, but it can easily be ordered online. (Try this online perfume outlet store for up to 80% savings). The only catch is that you won't be able to try it on your wrist before purchase. So, help use out here if you're an Angel perfume fan and tell us what you like about it by leaving a comment below.
