New York in a Bottle - DKNY Perfume
Donna Karan is a well-known New York designer in the fashion industry who founded her company in 1984. Later, in 1989 the DKNY store and line were established. From there several labels were created including DKNY Kids and eventually, DKNY Men. DKNY perfume is just one part of Donna Karan's fashion empire.
A Designer Brand but an Affordable Price
DKNY perfume or cologne is the perfect complement to a Donna Karan look. I you check the retail price for DKNY perfumes, you will see that it is pretty much be in line with other designer brands. For example, the Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Eau de Toilette Spray retails for about $75 for 3.4 ounces. This is a woody, light scent that's not overwhelming and packaged in a frosted glass bottle which has an organic flower-like and feminine form. It's very pleasing to look at and will display your perfume quite nicely.
Cashmere Mist has two interesting ingredients. They are orris and ylang. Otherwise, it's ingredients are fairly standard like sandalwood and musk. It also comes in a limited edition 0.2-ounce Cashmere Mist Eau de Parfum Roller Ball that retails for $40! Since it is such a small amount of perfume, it seems rather costly. However, the advantage is the very specific application of the perfume. Still, even if you buy at discount prices online this will not be the cheapest eau de parfum.
There is a lack of men’s fragrances but another DKNY perfume that women may want to try is . This floral scent comes in a bottle designed in partnership with a famous jewelry artist and has a nice frosted gold look to its rectangular shape, matching the perfume’s name. Some of the ingredients include golden balsam and gold pollen and, more unusually, acacia.
Donna Karan Gold Eau de Parfum comes in several forms including a 1.7-ounce Gold Eau de Parfum Spray for around $75 and a 0.2-ounce roller ball form for about $50.
